Another weekend, another TORNADO! It’s about time this Missouri weather gets out of here and stops interfering with our weddings. To say the least, Mackenzie and Christian (and everyone else) were such troopers on their big day and did not let the weather bring them down. Luckily, there were just enough breaks in the rain to fit in all of the pictures and vows outside.

We absolutely adore the simplicity of the greenery on the arbor – it may just be our favorite décor used yet. All of the greenery continued inside and it was beyond beautiful. (If you can’t tell, we love our greenery! How many times can I say greenery?) Now moving past the perfect décor and flower choices, lets talk about dessert. Would you believe me if I said Mackenzie baked all of the cookies for their 180 guests? Yep, I didn’t believe it either. There was so much love put into this wedding that it’s hard to even describe.

We hope nothing less than the best for these newlyweds. Even though they didn’t get the weather they may have wanted, they had all the family and friends that care about them there to celebrate and that’s what’s most important. Cheers to the new Mr. & Mrs. Kirk!
